Masiakasaurus Knopfleri

Lord, is this really real?!

Masiakasaurus was a small predatory (theropod) dinosaur from Madagascar, named in 2001.

The dinosaur species Masiakasaurus knopfleri was named after the musician Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits. The palaeontologists were listening to Dire Straits recordings when they discovered the species.
